New Vepr 12 Mags

Sooo I just got a couple new 8rd. mags for my Vepr 12 and didn't really want to spend $150 a piece on the Molot mags. Csspecs came out with their version of an 8rd mag for the Vepr 12. This thing is built like a tank. Its basically an AK mag on steroids. Fit and function are perfect. Heres some pics:

what's the empty weight?

There about 1lb 2oz. empty.

I'll check the weight on one of my factory mags tonight for comparison.

I think I read somewhere that the factory Molot 8rd mags are about at 12oz. But I'm not positive.

They look nicer than my poly 10-rounders that hold 11 rounds.

Thanks for the write up, I just happened to order a 10 rounder for my saiga .308 last night and almost put a vepr 12 mag in the cart too
