Just got this e-mail from Bullpups Unlimited in regards to the Mossberg kit they are developing to convert an existing Mossberg 500/590 into a bullpup configuration:

Which Christmas did you have in mind? Surely you're not expecting 2014? The Remington version took a loooooooooong time.

Thinking about one of these for my 870 clone but I havent been able to find a good video or review of one on a Norinco 982...might do it anyway but need to think about it. I saw one vid where the shooter was having a serious FTE problem but I suspect it was operator error.

Met the guy behind Bullpups Unlimited this year at SHOT. Good guy, someone with an idea who set out to do it all by himself (hence, I suppose, the delays). American ingenuity and can-do spirit. I'm here to tell you there is nothing cheap or easy about designing and producing injection-molded parts.

The guy from MAC borrowed the kit from the guy in this video, ran it in his 870 and it worked just fine. The guy in this video isn't cycling the action with enough huevos is all.

I have one for my 870, and I really like it. It's a lot of fun to put it on and run with it for a while. I'm sure it will be just as fun on the Mossberg.

I have an old Mossberg 500 ATP from the 1980s. Hardly used. Pistol grip.

I wonder if it would work on this bullpup. .?
