    Ithaca 10 gauge

My friend has a Ithaca 10 Gauge semi auto shotgun that's in been used once.
Want to know if its worth buying. I won't be doing any hunting with it but want to just go out and shoot it. He wants 400.00 for it.
    Thanks

I would recommend a 3.5 inch 12 guage shotgun from mossberg.
They carry loads similiar to the 10gauge. The 10gauge is a caliber that is hard to find and is expensive to shoot.

    just my opinion.

What type of 10 gauge is it?

if its $400 its a good deal regardless.

If its a Roadblocker then... well its a REALLY good deal.

If its a roadblocker I want it

If its a Mag 10, then it can be converted into a roadblocker clone and is still pretty cool.

It only holds 3 rounds but it'll throw up a wall of lead.

If its an Ithaca Mag10 he shouldnt get a Mossberg. He should be all over the Ithaca for $400. The Roadblocker/Mag10 sells for more then $1000 USED. These are highly sought after.

I think any 10 Gauge is worth that. I think they have been long forgotten and that is a shame.

                    Yep.....

Normally I'd be trying to swap you a 12 gauge and a wad of cash to try and get ahold of that 10....

10 Gauge guns are really neat, and they's worth a bundle, and they are hard to find....

at minimum its a good solid investment

Might as well have a fantasy 10ga post then--I'll do it!! EBR is standard in my neck o' the woods. 22" barrel w/brake! Knoxx SpecOps buttstock/grip! 3-5 rnd tube pump-action! Flattop w/Eotech! Single-point bungee sling!

                      Custom 400gr Hornady Sabot's @1900fps?!?!

Even if shells are expensive I would buy the 10 gauge. That's a serious goose gun.
