Anyone experience the safety reseting between shots on stoeger condor? Trying to figure out how to fix

blue Loctite works but I would personally use purple (low strength).

the screw for the spring didn't seem loose, took it apart anyway and re did it. safety doesn't feel any tighter. maybe its a bad spring, i will have to get a new one maybe.

well, i figured it out and thought i would post just in case someone else has the same problem, which a lot of the condors do. the long rod that activates the automatic safety is too long. this does not allow the safety to engage far enough down the retaining spring and then the inertia is enough to pop the safety back on after the first shot. that rod pops out easily and is replaceable with a 3/32 roll pin. this fixes the problem and makes the safety stiffer (which i like). the only thing is that it is not an automatic safety anymore (which i like as well). also, keep the rod in case you want to put it back in and utilize the warranty.

Glad you got it all worked out! Nothing sadder than guns that don't work right.

I'm also not a fan of automatic safetys. Maybe it's a good idea for your average range tard or a new shooter, but not for anyone who knows how to safely handle a gun. I will use a safety if the gun is equipped with one, though, especially out bird hunting while I'm walking around over sketchy terrain.
