LOL, yes it is my Golf hat. My wife says that Golf and Shooting are actually the same sport. They both require lots of gear and they are both expensive to play.

and she's absolutely right!... but if you have the means to partake then by all means enjoy yourself. Congrats! I've yet to shoot my first straight in skeet but hopefully it'll come some time soon.

I still have not gotten over when my cousin proceeded to stick my brand new hat in the cavity of the first deer I ever shot. He claimed it was tradition. My hat was a crusty bloody mess for the rest of the trip. The shooting of the hat sounds like a fun tradition. Like other have stated wear it with pride! Congratulations.
