Breaking in a Benelli Super Black Eagle 2

I had some problems today getting the gun to chamber a second round. This was the first time using regular ( 2+3/4 dram equivalent) skeet loads. Before this I had put about 75 loads through it that were 3+3/4 dram equivalent.

So, my question is: Do I need to put another 175 rounds through it (that are 3+1/4 dram equivalent or more) before it will chamber normal rounds effectively? I was told I might have to do this. I had the same situation with my Remington 11-87.

    ><

try shooting 3's out of it....2 3/4 are considered light target. 3 's cost is the same as 2 3/4 and a lot cheaper then the 3 3/4

    Have fun

I can't speak for your Super Black Eagle II... But the last time I looked up the recommended break-in ammo for a 12 gauge Benelli it was the 1 1/8 ounce, 3 dram ammunition.. Read your manual it tells you what you need to do!
