    Wait is over!(got my Mossberg 500)



    Finaly 11 days are over!






    Need opinions and advice on HD gun light.

          Good setup on your mossberg!!! Its simple!

          As for the light...you can go different routes. Do you plan on have a pressure switch or a regular flip (toggle) switch?

            Regular is fine. Don't like wire hanging off.

              Surefire forearms seem like the ticket....the problem is $$$$$. The next best thing is to buy a railed forearm but sometimes it will cost as much as the Surefire. Another way (and the simplest and cheapest) is to put a mount on your magazine tube.

              The first two are for Remingtons so look for something similiar for a 500/590. The last one is universal and should fit on your 500. The problem with the last one is that it still requires some rings to hold your flashlight.

                I could never get those clamps to stay put after a few hundred rounds of birdshot.

                    Your welcome! Yeah check gun shows because they usually have good deals on stuff like that. MidwayUSA, Brownells, and other CGN sponsors carry that kind of stuff

                        They have Mossy 500 with 20'', 500 combo (18.5'' and 28'') both on sale for $249, Remington 870, Mossy 590 and bunch of other stuf. I was there yesterday.
