    Vepr 12?

According to the shotgun flow chart, base on my understanding.... adding a forward grip and or a collapsing stock to a stock Vepr 12, makes it illegal in California? Am I correct on this? Thanks in advance....

      SHotguns are special.

You can't have a shotgun with a detachable mag at all, so you have to go to the maglock.

Unlike rifles however, that doesn't get you out in the clear.

You can't have any kind of folding or collapsible stock on any semi auto shotgun that has a pistol grip in this state so if you buy the VEPR, you can't undo the weld.

In addition, you need to stay away from above 10 round magazines and or drums. Some say that you can have an above 10 round in a shotgun, but the way the law could be interpreted, once you remove your above 10 round magazine/drum, you would now have an above 10 round feeding device that there is no way you could have possessed in this state before Jan 2000 because they didn't exist.

The above 10 round mag is a definite gray area and if something is gray, I stay away.

FUD. You can't have a collapsible stock AND a pistol grip on a semi auto. You can choose one or the other tho.

Also, last time I checked, there is no mag restriction on shotguns. I understand that acquiring 10+ round mags for it would be difficult to explain.
As the great warrior poet Ice Cube once said "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."
