Hey guys I'm a newer CalGuns member but not new to firearms as a whole. I've already posted a bit in the handguns forum but first time in the shotguns forum. Was just curious if there were any Saiga 12 guys here who would like to discuss their experience with them overall and specifically to Southern California. Weird looks at the range? Strong support? My main issue though, is where to find a Saiga 12 here in SoCal? I like supporting our local shops and would like to find one in the area that may have one in stock? If you know of a place to purchase one or would simply like to comment on your experience with your Saiga 12, I'd love to hear it!

Go online and get a Vepr 12 shipped to your fflIf you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie. -
You can get a Saiga 12 at Riflegear in fountain valley. They have them in stock right now.Hey guys I'm a newer CalGuns member but not new to firearms as a whole. Vepr 12 is the one to get. AK shotgun, bolt lock back on last round, no rock and lock magazine like the saiga 12, bolt release near trigger and safety modification for easy activation. Atlantic Firearm sells them for $800. Get it while you can.Last edited by HmoobWarrior; 05-24-2014, 3:20 PM.Comment

I have one. They are nice, but some people say a VEPR is better. I have no idea either way.
I got some strange looks at Prado, than busted 23 out of 25 with a bunch of toe shooters and they shut up.
Its a decent gun. I had a Vodka special, and had to drill out my gas ports, but other than that its respecatable but over priced for what it is.
They are not jam o matics if ported correctly.I love America for the rights and freedoms we used to have.Comment

Lube it well and run it really hard to break it in if you use 10 round fixed mags. Get a traditional bullet button guard like an AK. The one rifle gear sells is good, but you may need to tap the receive to get it on. There's a Raddlock version that has a weird shim key to release the mag rather than preserving the factory mag release. That is garbage and not tough enough to handle 12g.
It'll jam for a bit, as plastic shells aren't easily fed from an autoloading magazine configuration, especially with the 10 round nondetachable magazines. But after pounding a few hundred shells through it to break it in, it shouldn't have issues.Comment

I too had enlarge my gas ports, but now it runs everything from Winchester White Box birdshot to high brass heavies and slugs. I use am Auto Plug so it doesn't slam the trunion on hot loads.I voted against Obama before it was cool.
Originally posted by 1911LuvrI beg to differ. The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!Comment

I dig that VEPR, best parts about it are the safety and dust cover. After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..
I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
"911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".Comment
