Winchester model 12 featherweight

Hello,
I have a Winchester 12 in 12 ga that I'm looking for more info on it.
From what I know it's more a hunting gun and I don't hunt so thinking about getting rid of it. It has a poly choke deluxe on the end of the barrel also

That's a great old shotgun, that looks like its ready to go right now.
Have you had a chance to check the serial number see when it was made.

The Win Mod 12 is the greatest pump shotgun ever made.

Great guns! I love my regular M12.
The featherweight lacks the ability to takedown like the original can.
There are serial number guides out there that can help you date it.

Also on the underside of the barrel in between the tube towards the receiver at least on the regualr M12 there is a 2 digit number thats the year (19XX) at least the barrel was made but that might not be the year of the receiver...

The poly choke is a peroid correct accessory.
For some it kills the value, for some it would kill the value to chop it off even worse.

Featherweights can slam fire too right? Nothing like unloading 7 shells as fast as can be!

You may want to keep it, that poly choke kills the value of the gun.

It looks like it was made in 1960. Can the poly choke be removed or was it modified to mount it?
