Shotgun Black Powder loads

I was wondering if any of you guy's have any experience
reloading 7/8 oz lead slugs with black powder?

Curious why you're wanting to go this route? Are you breech loading or cartridge loading? I could probably look up data in some older manuals..

Pyrodex FFg Loads

My Lyman BP handbook does show anything lighter than 1oz.

Here's a weekly updated link from BPI, they have a slug loading manual for sale but post these free load data every week, and a couple are for slugs, their ThugSlugs 10/14/13.

Hey I just wanted to let you guy's know
that I recently came back from the Shooting range.
Last night loaded
Winchester AA Hull
209A Primer
7/8oz Lee hard cast slug
50 gr ( volume ) Pyrodex RS
Chronograph at 968 FPS
hitting 1 1/2' Low from center at 100 yards
it could it be me that I was aiming low ( maybe )

I'm planning on casting more slugs and add maybe 5 or 10 in volume.
will keep you guy's in touch of the results.
