Older Rem 1100 bolt assy w Scrolling

    Hi All,

I have a fairly new Rem 1187 and wanted to spruce it up a bit and have heard that that older model 1100s with the filigree engraving are interchangeable (although the extractor is a bit smaller). This is not an issue as I am willing to change out those parts or even do a little smithing to fit the larger 1187 extractor (I'm a mech eng. by trade).

Does anyone have any clean, functioning bolt assy's with the scrolling that they'd be willing to sell? Or point me in the right direction to find one? EBay was proposed but I've been looking and haven't found anything to my liking. I figured some avid 1100 shooters on here might have some extra parts they're willing to let go.

    Please msg me.

    Many thanks,
    Tim

OP, I think that would be a nice and unique way to spruce up your 1187, go for it.

other places to look are gunbroker.com under shotgun parts, or Numrich.

Make sure the bolt has the firing pin, spring, extractor and spring.
