    Otis cleaning solvent?

    Any of you folks use Otis Shotgun Blend cleaning solvent? What say you? Thanks...

      ^^ Agree 100%. I use a foaming bore cleaner similar to the above and it works exceptionally well to clean fouling, especially on shotguns.

      One pass with a patch, wait a minute, then a few more patches and the bore is very clean.

        I have never used the Otis myself, but if you're looking for a good, cost effective solvent to clean your shotgun barrel/bore, try WD-40. Brake cleaner works too, the range I shoot at (Coyote Valley) provides brake cleaners for customers to use at their cleaning station and their own people clean their rental shotguns with it.

        For myself, I didn't want to get the brake cleaner on me, so what I do is the spray the bore down with brake cleaner, brush it, and then spray again with WD-40 to flush out the brake cleaner. This I do at the range's cleaning station so I won't accidentally get the brake cleaner stuff onto other items at home.

          I'm sure the Otis stuff will work. Personally, I use Hoppes No9. Been using it for years.
