    Vepr-12 owners , a question

Does the silver colored piston rod that is screwed/pinned into the front of your bolt carrier have a slight wiggle and slop to it. Mine fits loose in the threads and wiggles back and forth. It is a brand new gun unfired. Also the rear sight has a few degree left cant.

Should I send it back or ??

The loose piston rod is normal.
As far as the sight, don't know what to tell you.

My buddy just called and I had him check his new vepr 12. He said his was tight and did NOT wiggle.

So do I worry about this or not?

Does the gas puck go nipple forward or nipple back???

FWIW, I have over 1000 rounds through mine so I'd say it's fully broken in.

The gas puck goes in with the nipple forward and the cavity toward the back.
See the little notch at the front of the piston rod? That can be used to pull the gas puck out.
