Bead Sight Threads Protrude into Barrel??

Sanded it down and have it nice and flush. There wasn't enough thread to get a nice, tight fit, but I applied a liberal amount of loctite.

I'm hoping this one will hold.

That definitely needed to be taken down to flush. You likely will be fine now.
