    My CA legal 'truck gun'

I picked up a Mav 88 for $180 a few weeks ago and I bought a Fort Knoxx breachersgrip on amazon for $59 last week. I know have a 29 inch pump action shotgun (that is legal according to the flowchart). Gonna shop around for a nice, cheap two point sling.

It is SOOO much more fun to shoot with the breachersgrip on it. Its no competition gun but it'll shoot minute of man at 25 meters. At under $250 it wont break my heart if it gets damaged or stolen either.

Maverick 88's are the way to go when buying a pump shotgun on a budget. Don't waste your time with Chinese junk. I'd highly suggest you not put a sling on it since you plan to use it as a truck gun, anyway. Slings are for hunting and field use.

Good for you, but I prefer the raptor grip:

Sorry for delay. Heres some pics: I placed my Zastava M92 pap pistol (with Century stabilizing brace) next to it just to show how it compares in size with my current 'truck gun' and I also included a tennis racket for people who arent familiar with AK pistols.

cant argue with that. But somehow it does (work)

Unfortunately, it adds like 2.5 inches to the OAL and its JUST too long for the tennis racket bag I thought I was gonna be able to hide it inside.

get the shockwave birds head grip, problem solved or hack the sling point off

does the birds head grip reduce recoil any?

Push fore grip away from you and pull other grip towards you when shooting like you are pulling apart the weapon. Felt recoil and muzzle climb will be reduced and target acquisition for follow up shot will increase.
