Is my Shotgun legal?

I had to leave my shotgun in RI when I moved to MA.... Now I am thinking about moving to CA and would be ecstatic if I could bring my shotgun with me. I apologize as I am not too familiar with CA firearms laws.

Its a Mossberg:

Pump Action
8+1
Pistol Grip + Adjustable Stock
Forward Grip
Pictanny Rails

As it is a pump action do I have anything to worry about under the Assault Weapon speal... pic is it before mods

I assume you are asking about question #8. If you don't know what an AW is, then you most likely do not have a "registered AW". And if you read the supporting documention included in the PDF, it will explain exactly what is an AW.

but assuming that you still don't know what an AW is, why not run your shotgun through the flowchart with both answers and see what happens? See if you ever get to an "illegal" answer.

Thx :P an AW in MA is very different than an AW in CA. Also my brother and I are building Airsoft Guns and a layout with that exact Hello Kitty theme :P How degrading to be 'killed' by the guy wearing the hello kitty outfit.

No it doesn't, that's why it lists the Penal Codes where appropriate. Assault Weapon issue is listed as PC 12276 in that flowchart.

Give the nimrods here a couple years and pump guns will probably be considered a AW. My wood stock 10/22 almost made the list last year.

Pump shotguns are assault weapons in Australia. They're limited to double barrels or level action.

Easy answer- as long as the barrel is 18" or longer and the entire gun is 26" or longer with the stock fully collapsed, it is legal

Most areas of California would welcome you wearing a Hello Kitty outfit.
