    Mossberg Flex Shotgun Owners?

    Anyone here have one?

Thinking of getting a flex shotgun and rifle.

I have one. Now that I look back on it I think got excited and made a silly purchase. For about a hundred less you can get the same gun (regular moss500). It allows for easy switching of stocks, forends, etc but in all honest how often does one switch those.

I have one. And I actually do switch between my tactical setup (with a Black Aces RB7M) and standard with the 28" for trap. Just depends on what I'm going to be doing. I think for the way I use mine it's well worth it. And it's easy and quick to switch between configurations.

Depends on your plans of use. I have an 870 that I use for both waterfowl and pig. I switch back and forth between the 28" bird barrel and the slug barrel with rifle sites. Very easy and convenient.

I have a mossberg 500 that has a18.5 inch barrell and the 28 inch barrel and the 28 just collects dust, I never swap them.

The Salesman at BassPro in Ft Worth showed me how easy it is to convert.

It seemed to be a good platform.

I just like the fact I can swap stocks from the .308rifle to the shotgun.

you can switch barrels on most shotguns the flew just allows it to take a few seconds less. Although I have one now that I look back the difference in cost between a 500 flex or regular 500 is not justified to me. Can do the exact same thing with both, the flex just allows you to do it without needing a wrench

Of course the flex rifle should of been pump action instead of bolt action to go with the flex shotgun.
