    Stockless Shotgun Question

has any legislation passed in the last year changing the legality of a stockless shotgun? I found this thread http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ight=stockless but since laws in California change constantly, I wanted to know if anyone has more current knowledge.

Im thinking of making a Mossberg 500 or Mav 88 with a breachers grip into my 'truck gun'

No I dont plan on leaving it in my vehicle overnight or going anywhere that might require i leave my vehicle unattended for more than a few minutes. However, assuming I keep it concealed and unloaded in my vehicle, is this legal?

    Check here: http://oag.ca.gov/firearms/travel

According to that web page, so long as you don't load it you'll be fine. Shotgun barrel must also be at least 18" long and the shortest firing configuration must be at least 26" long.

Why not go with a Remington 870 with bullpup conversion? http://www.bullpupunlimited.com/

I didnt even think that bullpups of any sort were CA legal. Interesting

I see two of them on sale on gunbroker right now, but I dont like the look of either seller enough to send them my money. This also costs as much as a Moss 500
