Recommendations on semi auto shotgun

I've been looking at SA's recently. Had it narrowed down to the Benelli M2 and the Winchester SX3. Two very different guns, but for me, both feel & shoulder great! Walked into a shop today and held a like new 20ga SX3 (Walnut Field). I could not put it back in the rack. Yep, put it on lay-a-way (1 payment down.......2 to go).

As other have said.... Save your money and get the shotgun that YOU REALLY WANT! Visit Calguns marketplace as i do see M4's for sale for less than the retail price

How about a Benelli M2? My wife has one, it is very simple to maintain and is also very reliable. Like most Benelli shotguns, the M2 does not require "breaking in", it is smooth and reliable out-the-box. After the initial cleaning and lubing, we fed it a steady diet of various cheap target birdshots and some low recoil buckshots, the M2 cycled through it all like a champ.

It is a very popular model used by people competing in 3-gun competitions, which means you can get a lot of 3rd party parts and accessories for it if you want to customize it.

Ditto that on the Benelli M2!

Also had a benelli. Great gun too. But too light for trap shooting.

Really? I shot my first 50 straight in trap with my SBE...didn't seem to light to me...Oh, and I only shoot about 6 x 50target rounds of trap a year during my 6 week trap spring league.

I have a early 11-87 Sporting Clays shotgun, I've shot all the clays games with it but that's what is for mine has the light contour barrel and outside of dove or quail I wouldn't hunt with it nor use it for HD.
I may have missed it what are you going to use it for?

To get a good recommendation you need to give your intended use. 3 gun... Just want a tactical shotgun?... Skeet / trap... Hunting...
Not just one good shotgun for all purposes? And that is why I have a few different shotguns.
