Best mounted light for Mossberg 500?

    Hello all,
I've been on Calguns for a while, but I'm a newbie when it comes to shotguns. I purchased a Mossberg 500 for home defense last month. After some initial shooting, I swapped out the stock and forend for Magpul furniture. I'm looking for a light that I can mount on the forend. My planned budget is $150 or lower. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Since you have the Magpul furniture on it, you are looking at a light mounted from your magazine tube. 9-15 bucks. Add any light. Surefire scorpion. Fenix makes relatively inexpensive lights. Some guys don't have to light up the world so if that's you, don't get stuck on lumens.
I've seen guys take scope mount rings and use those as a mount also.
If you search for mossberg 500 light mount, you should yield many options.
--the mount m16 links below is a cool Magpul option. I like 1 or 11 o'clock lights. And the Fenix PD35 is small enough and can put out 850 lumens.

You can mount a 1" diameter light directly to that forend using this:

Sell the Magpul stuff, use a Limbsaver on the original stock and find the best price on a Surefire forend light. 600 lumens and the ergonomics can't be beat.
