If it is an 11-48 I have almost all the parts, except for the barrel. Forend is in good condition, stock has scratches and one dime size chip out of it. Trigger group is complete and working. Other metal parts have some light frosting, but can be cleaned up. If interested in parts pm me.

A lot of the parts you can replace yourself. Not sure how thorough of a makeover that you want to do... remember, like classic cars, it is only original once.
The parts listed here are specific to the Browning A-5 shotgun chambered in 12, 16 or 20 gauge unless otherwise noted. Click the link above to identify your firearm's production date and version using its serial number. MGW offers a large range of replacement barrels, stocks, sights, action springs, choke tubes, screws, pins and more. These factory original and aftermarket components will ensure that your Auto-5 keeps functioning like new.

has a lot of parts. All the springs and friction rings are the same. The spring kit will set you back about 60 bucks I believe. As for the foregrip they tend to start around 60 dollars and go up... way up... It will be the same as the Browning A5. Just be sure you have the right length. You can find them even on ebay. The stock is different than the A5 so you will have to get a specific one made for the Remy Model 11. The curve in the grip is more aggressive on the 11 so the tang on the trigger guard won't quite fit. Get her up and running and shoot the snot out of it. They are wonderful shotguns.

Keep I mind that the Remington model 11 came in two configurations. The five shot and the three shot. The three shot is known as the sportsman. The difference between the two guns consists of the magazine tube, forestock, and magazine tube cap. Otherwise, other than cosmetics, such as checkering, and sportsman being stamped into the bolt and possibly the receiver, I believe they are the same.

It sounds like what you are describing as needing done on your Remington 11 might well be something you can do yourself. The recoil spring and fore stock replacement is a 5 min. deal. I would search for a used (but good condition) original stock on ebay (verifying all measurments first) to match the patina and age of your 11's shoulder stock. I've done that lately with a couple of shotgun projects and it is a nice way to keep the vintage look of the weapon.
