    Help! Shotgun jammed!

I was loading my shotgun, and placed a shell in the chamber and closed the breech, loading a shell. Thing is, a shell from the mag also popped into the chamber as well. So now my shotgun has a round in the chamber, and one round in the lower chamber. I cannot rack the slide back to unload the shells, because the shell in the lower chamber is blocking the carrier (?) i believe it's called, the piece of metal that you have to push shell against to load shells into the mag. Help!

EDIT: unjammed, just had to remove the mag spring and do a bit of wiggling...

Youre probably gonna have to remove the mag tube and shake the round out.

Would have been easier just to shove the round back into the mag tube

Had something similar happen with an 870.
The shell latch failed to grab the rim and fed two shells and a quarter of another into the receiver. Had to pry them out with a flat head screwdriver.

It's called either a loading gate or lifter (depending on the brand).

What kind of shotgun was this? Mossberg 500?
