Winchester 1897

Picked this up today. I sold a couple years ago and regret doing that. It has minor pitting but overall not too bad. May duracoat it someday. but right now i will leave it the way it is.

Please don't duracoat it... Blue it like an 1897 deserves to be.

Congrats! It's a great shotgun, and I bet you'll enjoy it. Just leave it as it is, don't duracoat it. There's always some new 870 or Mossberg for that

I can have it professionally blued but it would cost a lot as they have to address the pitting first. Duracoat won't cover the pitting either.

I'll leave it the way it is.

There very cool shotguns. I got three of them. Two are used for Cowboy Action Shooting with a 20 and 22 inch barrel and a 32 inch one thats used for trap shooting. All take downs.
