High standard semi auto?

A coworker of mine has an old high standard I was interested it looks very nice but can't seem to find any info on them it's a high standard semi auto from the 1960's wood stock and engraving on the side of the receiver anyone have any info or experience with them good or bad thanks in advance!

Rob, I have the JC Higgens version, a Model 60, built by High Standard.

FIL gave it to me 20 years ago. It had a 28" or 30" barrel, a bit of hunting wear and tear, but mechanically perfect.

When I lived in Texas, I had it cut to 24" and threaded for chokes (Colonial, I think).

Shoots anything, no issues. A great gun for close-in upland birds, though I also use a BPS in 20ga with a 22" barrel...about a pound lighter than the High Standard.

Awesome thanks for the info ! Beautiful gun too craftsmanship looks to be top notch the one I'm looking at would be about 95% or better too.
