    Anyone out shooting today?

I was out shooting at Coyote Valley, pretty crowded, I guess most people have the same idea and wanted to celebrate the 1st day of a new year with a day of clay busting.

Quite a number of families with their kids too, it is good to see so many young Americans shooting shotguns, many of them seems new to it but seems to do better than I did when I first started.

An oh, does anyone know that name of that rather large black dog that always hang around the registration area? It looks friendly enough but I wasn't sure if I should pet it. There's also a cat in the same area which is pretty friendly and I always pet it if I see it around.

Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear

Shot 5 rounds of 100 bird flush & flurry at Lemon Grove Rod & Gun. My team went first and shot 58, the second time through 80, then 79, then 80. My buddy and I filled in on another team and broke 90 for the win. All in all, a great way to start the year. That was epic fun, as each round was over in less than 3 minutes, and each shooter had fired 25 to 30 shots.

In a way I'm lucky in that I bought my first gun (a pistol) in Aug and my first shotgun in Oct this year. I never knew the "good old days" so to me this is normal.

Wow! This sounds like a lot of fun, I've got to try it when I have the chance.

Was out at MnM today for sporting clays...right after my wife mentioned that she was taking the kids to her father's house for lunch.

Shot five rounds of skeet at Triple B Clays this afternoon. Just practicing by myself on a five second delay. Range was not at all crowded, and I had a great time reflecting on my skeet deficiencies.

Not at all a bad way to start the year.

I went and shot clays at lynwood rod and gun club with family and friends. Had a bbq then shot some more. It was a great way to start the year.
