So I took the UTS-15 and the KSG out to the desert to try them out side by side.
Ammo. Both shotguns feed slug, 00 buck, bird shot fine. The KSG will feed the mini shells where the UTS-15 will not. Both fed the mini 2 1/4 shells fine.
On three occasions the KSG, after racking, would shoot out another shell from the tube.
We had zero failure to feeds with UTS-15 and only one with the KSG.
After shooting the UTS-15 having to manually flip the switch for the second mag tube sucks. But if you have never shot the UTS-15 then I dont think you'll mind.
Recoil is pretty much the same on both.
KSG racks a little smoother than the UTS-15 but neither are as smooth as a Mossberg or Remington.
KSG feels a lot smaller than the UTS-15.
UTS-15 is easier to load and if we had a jam it is easier to clear than the KSG.
