    UTS-15 factory upgrade

Anyone who owns the earlier generation utas can get the new gen upgrades for $79 from Utas. The rail is magnisium the selector switch is metal and so is the back of the feed tubes.

And let me guess, it fires when you pull the trigger now?

I can't believe a company would knowingly release a defective product, but than again, that's unbridled free markets. It's not like it's something you would use for self defense?? Or is it??

So let me understand. My Ruger Mark III wouldnt fire right out of the box...so Ruger is releasing knowingly defective products? My Core-15 would not reset...so Core is releasing knowingly defective products? My buddy and I both bought HK MR762's and his hammer pin fell out while on the range the first day...HK is knowingly sending out defective products?

Give me a break. Not one of the 68 guns I own are hand made, they are all mass produced and when there is mass production there are always mistakes.

I assume your UTAS doesnt work well. That sucks. Mine works great and I know a lot of people who have the same experience I do. It is the chance you take when buying a new gun to the market. The first Kriss Vectors had all kinds of issues.

My UTAS made two trips back to the factory AND STILL DIDN't work!!

The gun wouldn't shoot unless the foregrip was jammed forward.

The hammer falls when the trigger is pulled regardless of the location of the bolt, so the hammer can fall before the bolt is in battery.

I had a emp which refused to feed easily so I "get it" on a gun not working out of the box. Springfield made it right. Utas couldn't make it right and I got stuck with the transfer fee , dros, and shipping - To say with a straight face they tested the gun after they repaired it is a flat out lie or they have a different standard of acceptance than most gun owners I've met.

So no, it's not analogous to your ruger experience , it's more like Merck selling vioxx when they knew it caused heart attacks. UTAS has to know they have issues but the demand is strong for bull pup shotguns and the KSG is in short supply so is it sell them now before they're ready for prime time??

I wonder. I'm not the only one who's sent their gun back.
