    Moore-N-Moore MULLIGUN 400 pictures

Today was Moore-N-Moore's (San Fernando, CA) Mulligun year-end event. They had 150 shooters, they had three Beretta A-400s to give away, they had PRIME RIB FOR LUNCH !!

How'd I do? I shot like a blind man in a hurricane. But it was 75 and sunny, and I was out at the range with some friends, so I was having fun AND PRIME RIB FOR LUNCH !!

Nice pics Brad and thank you for sharing. We had a great group of guys today, and the weather and lunch was off the charts!

Too bad my shooting was towards the bottom of said chart. Oh well, keep grinding it out.

              Nice shooting with you Ken.

              I got this from Cory:

To see the results of yesterday's Mulligun 400 NSCA Fun Shoot, visit our results page http://www.moorenmoore.com/events/mulligun2013/12.php

Also, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the scoreboard so you can see who received punches and how many were awarded.

We'd like to thank everyone who came out to make this one of the best NSCA shoots of the year.

              FUN FACTS ABOUT THIS EVENT

              1. 150 Shooters attended yesterday's event making it the largest NSCA event in Southern California for 2013!
              2. 59 punches were awarded at this event.
              3. AA class averaged the highest overall scores as a class.
              4. 16 Juniors/Sub Juniors attended. That's a great showing guys! OMGTYVMFSWU. Translation for old people who don't text (like me): "oh my God, thank you very much for shooting with us".

              5. 12 Shooters joined the NSCA today. We look forward to shooting with you in 2014.
              6. E class attendance was off the chart with 45. This means 1st, 2nd and 3rd places all punched into D class and punches were given down to 6th place. Crazy!
              7. Mike Ishikawa, Tom Isgrigg and Don Tsuchiyama will be feeling less recoil and hitting more targets with their brand new Beretta A400 Shotguns. Congratulations!
              8. George Castellanos and Jimmy Heller will grilling away on their new Traeger BBQs.
              9. 6 shooters (which I cannot remember, sorry) will enjoy free entry fees to any of our shoots in 2014.
              10. Mark Nelson picked up 4 cases of ammo.
              11. Allen Peppers picked up 3 cases of ammo.
              12. 7 other shooters which I cannot remember at 3:53am (sorry) also picked up cases of ammo.
              13. Over 180 lunches were served. Way to go Pat, Janet and Hank.
              14. 2014 is going to be even better. And that's a very fun fact!

We hope you all had a great time. We certainly did.

good stuff - was a fun (long, but fun...) day; windy as hell, but fun nonetheless. I stayed and shot till 5pm with some of the other guys...I just couldn't get enough

Good shooting with you Kdruff and YSR!

Yeah, 150 shooters is a bit much for that place. But it went pretty smoothly.

I can't imagine what it was like when they had over 200. I wish they and TBC would get along. It would be nice to have a two-day, two-club tournament again.

                      Yep, that's him.

Moore-N-Moore is a great place. I just wish they and Triple B Clays could work out their differences. It would be cool to hold a portion of this year's State Championship there, maybe the sub gauges (TBC is holding it, and they're only 30 minutes apart).

The only draw back to M-N-M is the size of the place. They don't have nearly as much land as Raahauge's or TBC, and some of the stations are pretty close to each other. With 150 shooters this weekend, it was packed (well run, but packed).

A few people have pointed out that I didn't post 400 pictures

The name of the event is the "Mulligun 400". I'm guessing because they gave away Beretta A-400's.

The " Mulligun" part comes from when it wasn't a registered event. Back then they used to throw out your worst station score and replace it with your best. Kinda like a mulligan (do over) in golf.

If you ever make it to So Cal, definitely put Moore-N-Moore on your schedule.
