CZ redhead target vs redhead deluxe

Thinking about picking up one of these. Anybody have experience with them?

I shoot 80% trap and 20% sporting clays.

The target model is $500 or so more expensive. Does anybody know if the quality is actually better on the target model? Is it more expensive just because it's a target model and they can ask for more and people will pay? Would I be better served with just a redhead deluxe and put $500 of customization into it?

Maybe CZ sells shotguns by the pound, the target model looks heavier.

Target is 30" barrels and a stepped-up rib, Deluxe is 26 or 28" bbls and a normal rib. You should eyeball both rib types before choosing one, I hate the stepped trap ribs because all my eye sees is the first step as a big square in the way of everything else.

I have a Canvasback which is basically the Redhead with a black chrome action and extractors instead of ejectors. I didn't want anything to worry about in the marsh or the field, so got the Ford instead of the Mercury or the Lincoln. Fantastic gun, no complaints.
I don't shoot because I like guns, I shoot because I hate paper.

There's a mistaken impression that conservatives don't like the environment. We do, we love the environment. We just call it the outdoors and we go there to kill stuff.
