870 Gunsmith

I am looking for a 870 gunsmith.

Nothing big, just want to install a magazine extension tube for better balance and a Wilson safety for easier manipulation.

That is not a job for a gun smith as you will have to remove it and install it to clean the weapon so may as well do it. If it is an express with detents go to www.aiptactical.com and click on the red link "How to Videos" and you will find a video on how to adapt your mag tube to accept an extension. You only drill two holes so not worth taking it to a gun smith. There is also a Video on how to install the safety and that takes about one minute after you have the trigger plate in you hand. Very easy. Watch the videos and you will see what I mean about easy.

Not sure about the mag tube extension, but putting in the wilson safety is really easy as long as you have the proper size punch tool. Youtube has a lot of great videos to show you how as aippi mentioned before. You can save a lot of $ by doing it yourself. If I remember correctly, i bought my wilson "scattergun technologies" safety on amazon. Good luck!
