winchester 1300 or hawk 982 or HR pardner protector?

i know the Pardner protector and the Hawk982 is a clone, and the 1300 is winchester, but function wise and overall quality, which should i consider?
my need be:
Home defense,
hunting (small game)
Thats it!
also considering money is not a problem but which would be better?
i have the option of getting one of these..

One thing which was important to me (may not be to you) is the following (emphasis added):


If I'm going to trust my life to it, then I don't want to save a few dollars for a clone/knock-off. It may be foolishly spent money on my part, but it is my money and I'm just fine with my purchase.

Also, out of the box (and it gets better with use), the Win 1300 is one of the smoothest actions you will ever feel. The action is FAST too, another nice advantage. AND, IMHO, the safety is IN THE CORRECT LOCATION - at the FRONT of the trigger guard where it belongs! YMMV, especially if you are used to, for example, a Rem 870.

Finally, I have never had a SINGLE issue with the gun, EVER.

However... if you need to mall-ninja customize it, then it may not be the right gun for you as there aren't a whole lot of accessories specifically available for it. But all I wanted was a generic white light and a spare shell carrier which I could hook-n-loop attach to the receiver, and I'm good to go for HD purposes.

I have a Hawk 982, great gun. No problems, it's not "junk" and in many respects it's better than a basic 870 express.

The H&R company is owned by the same parent company as Marlin and Remington. I have the protector and it is a super value for the money. They are very solid, i have about 250 3in mag slugs and buckshot through mine and boxes and boxes of bird shot and not a single problem with any random shell i've put through it. Nice trigger, smooth action, holds 6+1 , nice thick receiver, fits all 870 parts,even barrels {with a spacer} , the thing kicks ***.

The Win1300 is the fastest cycling pump shotty on the market. Mine has been a great gun. Not a lot of aftermarket support for them anymore though.

The Chinese clones are producing some very good shotguns now a days. I know the two Stevens 350's I bought for my son and grandson are well made guns. When I compared them to the Mossy 88 they made it look like the one you would have expected to be made in China.

The 350 is a clone of the Ithica 37 (bottom load/eject) and works great for lefties. The Stevens name was bought by Savage so you are dealing with an American company if anything goes wrong.

The Stevens 320 is a clone of the Winchester 1400 pump.

Another option are the shotguns from various companies in Turkey. I own two Escort's (made by Hatsan) one a tactical 12G and the other a youth model in 20G. Both are semi-autos and are excelelnt guns for the money (about 2/3's what the next available semi goes for).

I also just bought another Turkish gun (still in jail) just the other day. I got the ATI (the aftermarket stock/accessories company) semi-auto 12G with two barrels package (18.8"/28") for $360, try beating that in an American brand.

For the record Mossberg's 20G semi-auto is imported from Turkey.

I'm sure it's just a typo but...the Winchester 1400 is semi-automatic, the Stevens 320 is a copy of the Winchester 1200/1300 design.
