Good morning I just acquired an old H&R break barrel shotgun and need help finding out when it was made and getting a schematic for it thanks!

I love me some vintage .410's! Those are the most perfectly handling single shot .410's out there
You gotta post some pics 
Although, I've always liked the bunny gun/rook rifle idea, and making an extra .32 S&W Long barrel for them isn't that hard, and when you're done you've got a great small game rifle with more power and reliability than a .22, the ability to tailor your own loads, and it won't destroy the meat.

Well, dagnabbit! I can't find the link to H&R serial number-to-date info...
I looked a few months ago, because in the span of two weeks I found both a single-shot break-action 12 ga and 20 ga H&R shotguns. Both! were made in 1940... serial number with an A- prefix.
I cut the 12 and left the 20 alone (for now). Here're links to the pics rather than the pics 'cause it's yer thread! and about yer .410. :-)
