Hit the Range today and had a great time. Very long drive from the mainstay, but worth every mile.

Clay facility was blast to watch! Then at the target range everyone thought we couldn't have Ar15s and Ak47s in California

I have been there with CalGunner Bad Kitty (female) and we had a good time. I also enjoy going out in the open desert to shoot.

I agree it's a great facility. It's sad but a lot of locals don't like the range and don't support it. It's not perfect but I really wished that more people saw that the success of the facility would be a success for shooting sports and gun ranges in general.

that is cause the locals near the range are transplants and moved there after the area was already planned to be a range if not construction was started.

all those houses on the way to the range were there when they zoned it for the range, and now that the houses are in, and the range is active, they are complaining of noise and "dangers" of stray rounds coming at them which is near impossible as all the rifle ranges are aimed away from them, and shotgun pellets don't reach.
