What over under is best for me?

I'm in the market for an all around over under, something I can shoot skeet, trap, sporting clays, and even take out in the field. I have shot a few including the beretta 686 silver pigeon, browning citory, and a franchi instinct.. I'm just curious as to what would be the best all around over under and what barrel length would be best.my budget is 2000 to 2500. And any other suggestions/ info you guys can give me I would appreciate.

The one that fits you the best. Fit and being comfortable are paramount in the clay pigeon games. With your budget you have many choices. Since you've shot the "B" guns already, which felt best to you?

The beretta 686 fits best out of all the guns I have shot at this point. I even have a silver pigeon on layaway. I'm just mining for info before I go any further

Got'a give us somthing to work with

What did you like about the 686, describe how it fit you...then we can recommend some O/U's along the same line as your description and within the budget

The reason there are so many different models is because there are so many right answers.

That's like asking which car is right for me, or which girl I should marry. Try a bunch out and decide for yourself.

New Beretta 686, or scour the used section.

Very difficult to go wrong with the Silver Pigeon. If anything, you can even consider hunting for an used 692. One in good condition can probably be had for just north of $3000.

Forget the price, go see what fits you best and buy it

Picking a shotgun for someone else is like picking their wife. You can get recommendations but there's no sure way of anyone else knowing what's right for you.

Go to Pacific Sporting arms, or to a shop that has a lot of guns to shoulder, open and ogle.

Go to the trap and skeet field and rent several. Internet advice is useless. You have to drive the car before you buy it to know.

There are also a few custom shotgun gunsmiths in this state who will custom tailor a gun to fit you perfectly for a few hundred dollars. They can adjust everything from LOP to adjusting POI/POA. Something I definitely plan on doing when I buy a dedicated trap gun in the future.
