1st time failure to eject - Winchester Super Target

Had my first failure to eject on my Benelli SuperSport 12 gauge today, I was shooting singles trap and after firing, the bolt did lock back but the empty hull stayed in the receiver. I was using the Winchester Super Target #7.5 1 1/8oz 1200fps load. This one: http://www.basspro.com/Winchester-Su...roduct/100284/

Just one shell though, I shot 2 boxes of the same shells today and only 1 failed to eject. It might be a fluke, but has anyone experience similar issues when using this Winchester load on their semi-auto or pump action?

The irony is that I've shot a large amount (probably over 1000 by now) of the cheaper Winchester Universal, those cheap 4-box pack you get at Walmart and comes in black boxes, and never had a problem.

Had few problems with Super Targets while I was breaking in an A400.

Scrubb out your chamber real well... A bore snake just dosent clean chamber well enough... Win's target dont like rough or dirty chambers... Hulls so thin they tend to grab more than other brands... Cheers...

I had a couple FTEs in the super vinci with 2 3/4 target loads. Is it broken in yet? Shoot some 3" and it should solve the problem

OP - in looking at the reviews (at Cabellas and Bass Pro) for the Win Super Target loads, it appears you are not alone in your experience with these shells. Good to know.

And your gun is fine. It would take a LOT more than a couple FTE's out of 50 shells to cause any real concern about the gun.

i have used the same rounds in my 870 express, and they were having problems ejecting. switched over to Remington target loads and not one problem. may have been a fluke, but it sure was frustrating.

cheap ammo usually have problems all the time. my 870 doesn't like cheap low brass(aluminum?) rounds.
