Question about Hogue Forend for 870

Hi everyone, new member with a question for you.

I have an 870 express Tactical with the 7" black ribbed forend. Because this forend is shorter than the wood forend on my 28" 870, it forces my hand to grip farther up the barrel. The wood forend is 9" and has a recess in the reciever end that allows it to cover the receiver by 2" when it is pulled back to eject.

I am looking for a black forend that is the same 9" with the same recess and the nice girl at Hogue (I called them) is unable to tell me what I need to know about their forend so I thought I would ask those of you that have one.
does the Hogue or any other brand fit my need?

This forend looks like what I need, does anyone know if I can buy it as a part and if so what the part number would be?

I understand that a longer forend would be an issue with a reciever-mount shell carrier but I don't intend to use one.

I recently tried the Hogue forend and it doesn't cover the receiver.

Thanks, that one looks like it would work but i was hoping to find a forend by itself for cost reasons.

My Express Tactical has the plastic forend and I will replace it with like kind, I just wanted a longer one.

Your point about the grip position is taken and agreed with, but i am so used to my wood-stocked 870 that i was hoping to find a similar size in the plastic.
