    Verney-Carron

I've never heard of this brand. Anyone have any input?

I'm looking to buy a .410 for squirrels and snakes. This brand came up in a search. I first looked to Browning, but wow, $2 grand is a bit much.

    Thanks.

Where do you see the 2K price for the H&R topper clone?

Snake charmer has been a round for awhile. They used to sell for about $100 not that long ago. The blue book lists a sea charmer and a night charmer as also have had being made in the past. I have never seen one and don't know how they are different.

Only problem I see with the shotgun in that it is a single shot. I believe there are some low priced .410 pumps out on the market which would make more sense to me. Mossberg has a .410 pump with an msrp of $350.00. If you go on Davisons Gun Genie you can get it OTD for around $330.00

The only $2 grand .410 I could find was a Remington Citori 500.

They are not as light, short and handy usually though. Used .410's are harder to find and usually command a higher price then a used 12ga of the same model also.

That said I saw a hunting model Mossberg 500 .410 for $150 earlier this year and my dad just picked up a used Mossberg cruiser pg only in .410 for $125 recently.

The 2k was for the Browning. Not for the Verney-Carron. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.
