Jam-o-matic special. And the thing kept puking its parts under recoil and constant firing.

Pure junk! Actually, I'm 100% sure this is the same POS!

Yup Medic, you win a prize! It is the UTS15 Utas shotgun 14 + 1 12ga. Glad to hear that review....it'll keep me from drunk dialing my FFL and waking up with that thing 10 days later.

As I stated in my post, this is what happened to my father-in-law. There was a trigger issue and the gun Went to Italy after being shipped back to Beretta USA. I am just pointing out a FACT of what HE went through.

I'm not calling you a liar, maybe your paw in law was stretching it a bit or funnin' ya'...but I am suggesting that your father-in-law's gun problems must have been decades ago and way back in the day before Beretta established their service network in the USA and that the largest and most successful gun manufacturer in history didn't get that way by having their US customers ship their guns back to Italy for service or repair. Beretta may have been waiting for the parts to arrive from Italy but I doubt very seriously that they would ship a gun back to Italy, let alone 3 times, for a trigger repair...think about it for a minute.

Beretta U.S.A. Announces Major Customer Service Initiatives
          Sept. 18, 2009
"ACCOKEEK, MD --(AmmoLand.com)- Beretta U.S.A. Corp. announced today that it is launching three major programs intended to significantly enhance its customer service program.

The first part of the programs is the opening of regional Beretta service centers throughout the United States. Beretta U.S.A. has, for decades, used Bolsa Gunsmithing in California as a Gunsmithing and Warranty Service Center."

And as you can see there is not an Italian address amongst their service centers and I can guarantee you that every one of those listed are world class gunsmithing experts who can fix, replace or repair any part of any Beretta that has a problem...especially a trigger issue which any competent gunsmith should be able to resolve.

I have a Browning 725 30" Sporting Clay model. It's currently at Browning for repair. I took it last May on a four day / 750 target shoot. A pin in the forend started walking out after about 300 rounds and kept walking out for the rest of the trip. The latch on the forend had to be pried open after the end of the shoot and the forend would not re-latch (re-attach).

I was hoping for a real nice Shotgun, but this was disappointing. When I get it back, I'll re-shoot it and hopefully, the problems will be fixed. I bought the 725 a year ago, it was a first year production model. Sometimes, it's better to wait to buy a first year production firearm.

I was close to buying a Beretta 686, but opted for the Browning. I hope I'm not going to be sorry.

Even though I'm a huge Beretta fan, I would still say thats not normal for a Browning. Browning makes great guns and I really think they'll fix it for you, hopefully it will be trouble free for the next few decades.

The whole Beretta vs Browning debate is BS, they're both great guns. The choice is entirely dependant on the buyers preferences. I preferred the light, quick, slim feel of the Beretta, while others prefer the larger grip and smoother swing of the heavier barreled Browning.

It's really best to hold and feel them all before buying.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

I thought the same thing when I held the two. The beretta seems to have a light slim quick feel and I really liked it. Even though I wanted to like the browning more. That triple barrel is ridiculous!
