    Beretta A300 mini review

A buddy of mine just got a (scarce) wood stocked Beretta A300. We took it out to Raahauge's last Sunday to break it in.

Imagine my surprise when it ran flawlessly right from the start. The fit and finish are really nice, and it's a soft shooting gun.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced semi auto, give the A300 a look.

The A300 and A300 Outlander are two different shotguns... the latter being the newer model.

I bought the synthetic A300 Outlander recently and for the money I don't think I could have purchased a better shotgun. Very reliable and cycled everything I put though it.

The receiver should be able to tell you.

Nice, this is the 2nd post I've read here about a Beretta shotgun running birdshots correctly out the box. Seems like their manufacturing is very good and doesn't require any of that "break in" period I sometimes hear about.

Just picked up my A300 Outlander in synthetic camo, looking forward to getting out into the swamp to blast some duck.

Fwiw- Extreme x is referring to the original 300 series guns beretta produced from the 70s thru the early 90s (AL1,2,3/300/301/302/303/304) - the new a300 outlander is a new model with a different gas system (more 391/400-esqe).

I was a Rem 1100 guy all my life, but after shooting his Beretta that will be my next auto. They're that nice.
