Shotgun shell extension limitations

I just bought a Benelli M2 Field today for 3gun and I would like to get a nordic components shell extension tube.
Is 10 shells the maximum limit for semi-auto shotgun including the tube extension tube?

I believe tube fed has no limit. It may be different for a s/a shotgun.

It all depends on which 3 gun match you are shooting. USPSA MultiGun or outlaw or local. They all have different, but similar rules, for each division. You need to contact the match director and find out what they allow. Since you are in San Diego, go to the Pala 3 gun match and see what is happening. http://www.lineadefuego.info/matches/

I will most likely be competing in Open or Tactical and for fun Heavy Metal in the future.
Are there any CA legal capacity limitations for semi-auto shotguns?
