Well, if your gun is like mine, that Nordic Components follower will put your gun at "6+1" when using the NC +2 extension. I have the old style NC follower (and +2 extension) for my SNT and there is no way I could shove more than 6 in the tube (using Federal Loads @roughly 2.4"). I had to revert back to the stock plastic follower in order to accommodate 7 rounds. Nothing wrong with the NC in terms of function....just length.

I will admit that I have continued to use the stock Benelli retaining ring, even though using the NC extension, for ease of dis-assembly. This, of course, can add to the problem of load capacity. However, even with that having been removed, the NC follower only "allowed" 6 rounds into the tube; the stock follower gave me 7.

While I love NC products, their followers appear to remain (after having looked at the side by side pic you posted) too damn long! Why they haven't done anything about THAT issue is beyond me. I recently ordered the exact follower you have been speaking of, as a replacement for the old NC style, in hopes that it would be an exact replica of the follower offered by Benelli. Seems like they got the shape right, but the length issue appears to remain unaccounted for.

Has anyone thought of shortening the Nordic follower to match the OE plastic follower in length? I still prefer this option over the others as the design is identical minus the length. I came across Dave's Metal Works Follower & Benelli Super Eagle II/M2 Follower - wonder if anyone has experience using these?

It would be a quick dremel job to shorten Nordics follower. I did not get the others since I have read reviews that they are not 100% compatible and people have had issues with them.

I have had zero issues with the follower. The design and cut out is the exact same as the stock one except a little longer on the back end. that is where most of the issues were from with the other followers.

The neck part that is cut out is a lot longer then most other designs and Nordic did a great job in matching the cut out.

Tried the Dave's, no joy in the Supernova but works great with my 930.

Now I have to figure out how to get this new Supernova follower. Don't want to buy just one item. Hopefully another vendor will carry them.
