New pad for a 100 year old.

Its a NOS pad but not vented/ribbed like the old original one, but it was brittle and crumbling. I'm going to shoot a little trap with it.

Some new life for an old friend. I like it.

I did the same to my 1926 model 54 winchester rifle, just last week. My grandfather had an old pachmyer white line vented buttpad which has been sitting new in the box for years. I used my belt sander to fit the pad to the stock. It was my first try at that, but it looks pretty good. Now, I need to go try it out with some full power 30-06 loads.
