Benelli s/n?

I just picked up a brand new Benelli Supernova and the serial number on the receiver does not match the serial number on the barrel. Is this normal? Will firing the weapon be a problem because of headspacing? I haven't shot it yet, just cleaned it.

Yep, Benelli is weird. My R1 has the same thing. The receiver and barrel have the same number but different letters in front of the number.

My M2 and SuperSport also have different #s.
