I just purchased this about a month or so ago. Basically an A400 series shotgun. Like all Beretta semi-autos it is very nicely made.

I have the 21" barrelled model and have added a Nordic +3 extension to it (for 8+1 total cap). Handles very nicely, setup for 3gun out of the box but easily adaptable to clay sports also. I bought it mainly to get into multi-gunning but also for casual skeet and sporting clays if I wanted to.

So far I've only shot it at one of the NorCal skeet clinics and it ate all my 1145fps light target (Federal, Estate, Win AA) loads without a hitch. Worked straight out of the box. I just did a visual inspection for barrell obstuctions and that everything worked but otherwise I didnt lube or clean it beforehand. Its fairly light recoling compared to say a Benelli M2 but I have no other basis other an 870 and its less recoil than that as well.

Check out the threads over at the Brian Enos forums, they seem to have the latest info on this shotgun mainly from a 3gun perspective but it should answer a lot of your questions.

    Hope that helps!
