    Multi-purpose Shotgun Recommendations

What auto-loading shotgun do you guys recommend for 3 gun, hunting (upland and water fowl) and trap/skeet? I understand that it will not be perfect for all my needs but I cant afford to buy 3 different ones. I was seriously looking at the Mossberg 930 JM Pro 22". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have it myself but from the looks of this video, it is a great shotgun.

If it were me - Benelli M2 with a Comfortech stock. You have a tried and true action, often seen in 3-gun circles and hunter's hands - simple, reliable, easy to clean, large aftermarket support, and will be fine on the trap and skeet fields.

Available shims, different sized recoil pads, and combs will allow a decent amount of adjustment (for fitment). Barrel length would be personal preference depending on how you like the dynamics of the gun with and/or without an extension.

Other options that may float your boat:

Beretta's 391 or 400 Extreme - hunting guns, but will take an extension tube -

good luck on the decision and purchase

Concur. 24"-26" w/ comfortech stock (i.e., not pistol grip).

What ever you get just remember, if you take it hunting you have to plug it to only hold 3 rounds (2 in the mag 1 in the chamber).

the Benelli M1 Super 90 is one heck of a shotgun. if you go with a Benelli, make sure you get the barrel size you really want. barrel replacement cost for any Benelli shotgun is steep.

My HK (Benelli) M1 Super 90 has been my "Go-to" shotgun since it was first purchased. First as my HD & USPSA side match gun, (using the 20" fixed sight Cl barrel ) and now my skeet, sporting clays, and coyote (26" VR w/ interchangeable chokes) gun. Total round count near 25,000 rds (mostly reloads), and it keeps on ticking.

The only problem with Benelli, is replacement barrels (Very pricey and slow delivery time).
