Since I shoot IDPA and want to learn I watch the Powerfactor show.
This is an old video but it's new to me.
I always knew I wasn't really cleaning and lubing my shotgun enough. I scrub/patch the barrels after every shoot but I've never attempted the lockworks.
Making a jug Ed's Red will be a real savings for me.
Mobile one grease and 5-20 oil will be my new oil.
Now for taking apart my Spanish sidelock I found this:
I took my H & H locks off last night after shooting the gun for 7 years and it looked real nice inside. I just wiped the locks and added a little oil.
The only "Turn Screw" that going to touch the locks are going to be Dale Tate's. I'm to much a coward
Tomorrow night I'm going to go after my son's '39 LC Smith 20 ga w/ ejectors.
