A nice video on cleaning shotguns

Since I shoot IDPA and want to learn I watch the Powerfactor show.

This is an old video but it's new to me.

I always knew I wasn't really cleaning and lubing my shotgun enough. I scrub/patch the barrels after every shoot but I've never attempted the lockworks.

Making a jug Ed's Red will be a real savings for me.

Mobile one grease and 5-20 oil will be my new oil.

Now for taking apart my Spanish sidelock I found this:

I took my H & H locks off last night after shooting the gun for 7 years and it looked real nice inside. I just wiped the locks and added a little oil.

The only "Turn Screw" that going to touch the locks are going to be Dale Tate's. I'm to much a coward

Tomorrow night I'm going to go after my son's '39 LC Smith 20 ga w/ ejectors.
Spreading the WORD according to COLT. and Smith, Wesson, Ruger, HK, Sig, High Standard, Browning

There's a part two to the Powerfactor show episode on shotgun cleaning.

They go into the locks as well on that one.
