Is my understanding of CA laws re: shotguns correct in that combining the Tapco Intrafuse Saiga T6 stock set with a Saiga-12 results in an illegal assault weapon?

I went through the CA Shotgun Ban ID flowchart and the last two questions that pertain to the Saiga-12 were:

13. Does the semi-automatic shotgun have a folding or telescoping stock? Yes

14. Does the semi-automatic shotgun also have a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon, thumbhole stock, or vertical handgrip? Yes

Not sure how difficult it is. Never done it myself. I would think you'd be better off having a gunsmith do it. Can be done for around $25 (per riflegear's service prices). I doubt it's easily reversible though. Possibly even welded. I would think that if it's too easily reversed then you may run afoul of the law.
