    Benelli M4 - 922r Compliant question

    Hey all,

If I decide to change out the butt or forends (USA made) on my M4, does that mean I have to go all the way and switch out other parts to make it fully 922r compliant? (i.e follower, trigger, etc..)?

I know if I want to extend the magazine to a +7 then it would need to go thru the process to make it 922r....however if I just wanted to replace the butt or forend?

    Thanks

No need to switch other parts.

Hi. Next future purchase , an M4. What parts can be changed (USA made) on the M4 and keep the 922r compliance intact? Thanks.

            YES
if you change one part (stock or forend) you need to change 2 others to be compliant.

I suggest you google 922r and also look at freedom fighter, they will have more details on the rules.
