      Hi there folks!

I just finished editing my first episode of series 2 where we'll look at long range testing of shotgun ammo in ballistics gel.

Federal Premium Copper Plated Lead 00 Buckshot with FliteControl Wad:

      Thoughts about the test format?

      Cheers,

I wouldn't abandon your other format (1.0) but do keep this one around too.

Thanks for doing the Flight-control 00!

If you'd like a suggestion I think a great comparison would be the Hornady Varmint Express #4 buck with the same wad. Federal supposedly makes a Personal Defense #4 buck with flight control but they've been sold out for months (I even wrote to the factory) and Hornady is the only other maker that uses the rear-breaking shot cup.

I filmed the hornady versatite wad #4 buckshot long range gel test at the same time as the 00 buck episode...I will edit it up next. I've also got a series 1 test format of it filmed too, but that will be a couple of weeks out in the editing department.

          Cheers,

I got out this past weekend and filmed a bunch of different slug reviews...will get to editing them pronto!

            Cheers, and thanks for watching.

I'd like to see some extended distance pattern and penetration tests.. 45-60 yards since that is the usual pass shooting distance for the game in question when using BB's, BBB's, or T shot and the specialty flight control wads.. The game in question are geese whether Snows, Canadians, or Specks (White fronts).

For those extended distances, you may want to use a rest with a point of reference on the geletin blocks.

As a follow up to my 00 buckshot gelatin test, I tried filming something new during this year's hunting season:

Performance test of Federal's Premium VitalShok Copper Plated 00 Buckshot - 55 yard deer kill. The episode's a little longer than my usual efforts, but I'm still somewhat searching for the right amount of balance.

                    Cheers,

                    Brobee
